My journey into photography began with my most important roles: being a mother and a wife. With two young children, I wanted to preserve the fleeting moments of their childhood, so I picked up a camera to document our everyday life.
What started as a personal project quickly grew into a passion for capturing meaningful moments for families, friends, and members of my community. Comet & Light began as a photography business, but over time it has grown into something much bigger and more meaningful. Event planning has been a passion of mine for many years, and expanding into this space felt like the most natural next step. As I begin this new chapter, my promise is to bring a relaxed yet strategic approach to your photography session or planning your event—balancing creativity, clarity, and calm every step of the way.
I offer a variety of planning packages designed to support different levels of need, and I'm always happy to tailor a custom quote if your event requires something more personalized.
Alongside photography, I balance a full and fulfilling life. I work full-time as a project manager, coach gymnastics—drawing from my background as a former Level 10 gymnast—and serve as the Vice President of our school's PTA. I've also planned weddings, events, and celebrations over the years.
While some may call it busy, I thrive in the energy of creating, organizing, and connecting with others. Whether you're hosting a small gathering or a large-scale celebration, I'm committed to working closely with you to ensure every detail is thoughtfully handled and your vision comes to life beautifully for you and your guests.
